It liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiives!!!!!!!

Right then so here its is the official Blog for the club! Anyone want any rant or rave to be put up here by all means dont be afraid to mail me. Up to this point its been laughter and tears. Mostly tears though.

A few people came up to me wondering about a novelty tournament and to accommadate there will be a €25 double chance Pot Limit Omaha tourney every sunday. We'll try for a 9 start but I should really say half 8 as time keeping up this part of the country seems to be a foreign concept! The tourney will be part of the league. Whoo hoooo........

So other than that the week stays the same. Monday still boasts a €30 freezeout. It was on this faithful night where the poster "You must bet a Dead pot" came from. In a spectacular move a certain DIY man ships all in on the turn while another person was all in. The great Don Santos errupts like Mount Vesuvias and the whole world goes red. HULK SMASH!!!!! hadnt a patch on the blessed curse that was shouted from the top of the table. Needless to say DIY took it down and ran for a ciggie. If his picture starts popping up on milk cartons please provide any information that may prove useful.

Tuesday brings high and lows with a €20 freezeout. All the young guns are here. Battling out for the coveted 1st prize. Tensions are high as these future pros pitch wits across the blue fuzzy felt. Here the power of 65 off has been known to be just too much for some as they return home to their loved ones, scarred from battle and visibly shaken from a board that reads as follows: 4,7,8 rainbow while holding pocket Kings. War flashbacks are not uncommon!

Wednesday hails the middle of the week and an awesome €50 freezeout. It is here where you learn to wield your stack like a weapon, use it like a fortress and of course to bluff your opponent like the mommy's boy he is! This tourney usually takes a while as about midnight hot women in alluring clothing can be viewed on the Big screen as they gyrate to their own music. God bless Minx Uncut!!!!!!

Thursday is the warm up day, here players get themselves psyched up for the battle that follows the next day. Although this €25 freezeout attracts the more youthful player the quality is usually high until a rush of blood goes to the head and a brave person calls two all ins with 10 3 off suit. When asked why, "Value" was the only answer given. Heads have been scratched, oaths have been muttered but no solution has yet to present itself.

The highlight of the week comes in the shape of a €100 freezeout. The weakhearted need not apply. On this battlefield soldiers have been lost in the tank, tears have been shed and tables have been broken. Chairs have been known to be seeing flying through windows as bad beat after bad beat rears its ugly head and laughs.

Of course league points are available from all these great tournaments and the fight for top spot has gotten underway.

Cash games are the home of sniggering calls and "hard" laydowns. Of course if the board read 4,A,A and a hand was 4,2 then this could not possibly be seen as a hard laydown. In fact what the hell are you doing in the hand in the first place. The introduction of the new cash league will settle the men from the boys!!!!!!

Stay tuned for tales of the baddest of beats, of raising preflop for a reason and instructions on how not to bet a dead pot.
